Based in Limerick, EcoBrats is a family-run, family oriented business, providing quality products that are kind to your baby, Kind on the environment and value for money.
We are committed to minimising the negative impact our business has on the environment and to preventing pollution. EcoBrats recognises its impacts on the environment, resulting from waste production, business related travel and resource, energy and water consumption. It is our aim to integrate good environmental practices throughout all aspects of the organisation, and strive to continually improve our environmental performance.
We are committed to:
- Conforming to, or exceeding the requirements of all environmental legislation
- Using energy efficiently throughout our operations
- Minimising the use of paper, by the use of electronic communications and record keeping
- Using 100% post consumer waste recycled paper for all printed materials
- Using vegetable-based ink for all printed material, with the exception of digitally printed material, where remanufactured ink cartridges will be used
- Using and promoting the use of recycled, recyclable and/or biodegradable packaging where this is within our control
- Recycling as much waste as possible (40% of all waste by 2010)
- Minimising the use of harmful synthetic chemicals in all products used in our operation
- Working with our clients and suppliers to identify new materials and techniques that have a reduced environmental impact
This policy is communicated to all staff, is reviewed annually and will be updated to ensure that it continues to reflect EcoBrats’ aims and objectives.
